Business Development Manager

Due to Mobius Works’ continued growth, we’re currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our friendly and fast paced team based in Warmley, Bristol.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, self-managing and target focussed individual who has the drive, a network of contacts and wide industry knowledge of the Bristol and South West region.

The successful candidate will possess a proven track record in end-to-end sales within main contracting and/or commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects. Ideally, the candidate will have a minimum of 3 years previous experience and have the ability to manage and nurture multiple accounts with values between £10K to £1M+. Mechanical and electrical knowledge will be advantageous.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Identifying opportunities by contacting potential clients and establish rapport
  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
  • Achieve or exceed goals while working within the companies objectives
  • Assist the pricing department in preparing and delivering presentations/quotations
  • Develop and maintain good knowledge of products and offerings
  • Negotiating to close profitable orders
  • Participate in accurate and effective pricing for the solution/service
  • Organise and manage time and sales area effectively
  • Manage sales pipeline and accurately forecast sales performance
  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs
  • To keep abreast of competitor activity and market intelligence
  • To arrange meetings and diaries
  • Keen networker and happy to get involved with the social aspect of the business
  • Assist with marketing activities (experience in organising events will be welcomed)
  • The role will be primarily based in Bristol with occasional visits across the South West, Midlands and London (valid UK driving licence is essential)

Salary will be competitive with the potential for commission (including car allowance, phone, laptop and expenses) – Please state your desired salary in your covering letter.

This will be a full-time fixed term contract.

Are you an experienced Electrician
Capable of Leading a Team?

  • Capable of leading a team, liaising withContract Managers & Clients
  • Ability to co-ordinate and prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Experience in commercial, industrial & luxury residential electrical installations, such as; shop-fitting, refurbishment, maintenance,
  • Installation of a variety of containment/wiring systems, inspection & testing
  • At least 5 years’ experience conducting a recognised electrical apprenticeship, e.g. City & Guilds NVQ3
  • Approved electrical testing qualification preferable, e.g. City & Guilds 2391
  • Valid CSCS card

Multi Trade Operative

Required to undertake refurbishment and fit out works on commercial and residential properties.
There will also be an element of reactive maintenance also.
Must have your own tools and be experienced in carpentry, building, plastering, plumbing and making good.
Must also have CSCS card.
There maybe projects where you will need to stay away for a period of time if the project is too far to travel and therefore more hours can be worked.

Reporting into Contracts Supervisor and Directors.

Salary: £13.00 to £14.50 /hr

Electricians
